    Klarus P1A VS. JetBeam BA10

Speedsix/shelm, have you read my entire post? :grin2: Read that quote too ;) Sorry, don't have any lightmeter (or whatever), but I would say it's about as twice as bright with 14500. I think that it's bright enough with 1xAA, but with 14500 it rocks! Do it on your own risk though! By the way...

    Klarus P1A VS. JetBeam BA10

Nah, maybe it's too late, but whatever, just FYI: confirmed, works w/o problems with 14500. Both, low and high, are (much) brighter. Still don't recommend running on HI until it gets hot (just in case :) ) PS: hi there, kreis :grin2:

Hm, interesting  Thx, speedsix, great little "feature" ;) Still, I need to decide between two. Someone tried 14500 in Klarus P1A? EDIT: How much is recommended for 14500?

Will Klarus work with 14500? Looks like JB can.

According to Selfbuilt's review of BC10, run that light with li-on is quite "dangerous". Perhaps 14500 can handle a bit more current, or I'm wrong? Should it be IMR or we can use normal protected 14500 in BA10? Thanks in advance ;) PS: what about Klarus P1A? Does it have the same driver?

Olight i2 EOS safe to use 14500?

Thanks, Jon. lol :) So, looks like HIGH is DD, no? And other modes are regulated. What about heat? Definitely it should be warm in a seconds, but yeah, while they use the same circuit ITP used in their A series, no prob with 14500 (for short periods of time, of course)

I wondered the same thing. Find this post. Can someone else confirm that? Thanks :)

My first (and last) Solar Force L2 host

Another "+1" for Rich and Foy. I bought L2P (host only) not so long ago, and for $20 shipped WW... I think it's well worth that money: good machining quality, HAIII... Just my 2 cents, guys
