    Simple 1AA for 70 Year Old Mom-in-Law

My mom-in-law needs a 1AA light with a simple user interface. It needs to be reasonably bright, but anything over 100 lumens should do it. It would be best if it had only a single bright setting, although two or three levels should be okay as long as she can ignore them, and go right to the...

Both of my Zebralights went Bad. Ugh.

I'm sending it to Irving, TX (but that doesn't necessarily mean that it's not going to be forwarded to China.) The last time it took about six weeks for return.

Both of my Zebralights went Bad. Ugh.

Original poster here. I got an email from Zebralight last night (which was a Sunday.) Anyway— it's going to cost me $15, but at least I can get it fixed.

Both of my Zebralights went Bad. Ugh.

No. I can't test current draw. I CAN tell you it's not the rechargeable batteries (eneloops.) I've switched them around to different lights and they work fine. This is a bit upsetting. The Zebralight headlamps are incredibly versatile when used as just a flashlight or as a headlamp. The...

Both of my Zebralights went Bad. Ugh.

I think it took about 6 weeks. There was nothing in the return envelope to indicate the problem.

Both of my Zebralights went Bad. Ugh.

This past October I had to return my H51w to Zebralight for warranty repair. The light was draining the battery within a couple days even though the light was being used only on its lowest setting for just a few minutes a night. A week ago, my SC50w started doing the same thing. Since I've owned...

My Zebralight H51W is Draining the Battery When it's Off

It took a while, but Zebralight returned the light to me a little over a week ago. I've been using it regularly since then before posting the verdict. It's been working just fine. Me happy!

My Zebralight H51W is Draining the Battery When it's Off

I went to Zebralight's site and looked at the warranty link. To use their warranty, proof of purchase is required. The light was a Christmas gift from my parents so I have no paperwork. I checked with my Dad, and he had cleared out all his old emails so didn't have the receipt either. So I...

My Zebralight H51W is Draining the Battery When it's Off

Up until the recently, my H51W has been working just fine. Actually, since I got it last Christmas, it's had only occasional use. A couple months ago, I started using it as a middle-of-the-night-bathroom-light, using mostly just its lowest settings. In about a week, the battery is dead. It's...

    ZebraLight Mods

I won't be able to post pics until at least next Tuesday. In the meantime, I'm using a H51W. I'll try again with the description, too. Take a knife or scissors to the silicone part of the headband and cut away the loops/rings that normally hold the light. You'll be left with a silicone rectangle...

    ZebraLight Mods

The above appeared on the first page of this thread, but no one has seemed to take advantage of it (based on any of the photos on the rest of the thread.) I thought I might repost it it here, and tell how great it is. I cut the loops off of the silicone part of the headband yesterday. I did not...

    4sevens Titanium Whistle Insert MOVES!

I was one of the first to give rave reviews to 4sevens 100db titanium whistle. Tonight I blew on it—and nothing. I carry it on a key carabiner attached to a belt loop. During the last several weeks of carrying this way, the white nylon insert had moved down so that it was flush with the...

Has Anyone Tried The Quark Prism/headband?

Have one. Hate it. It's okay in a pinch but not for regular use. It seems to diminish the brightness quite a bit, and cuts off the edges of the beam substantially. I like my Quark. The Prism—not so much.

Zebralight question - pocket carry - Help please

FWIW- the o-ring is a #111. I think I paid .29 at my local hardware store. The Lowes nearest me did not have it. I used GOOP to glue it to the light. The o-ring mod solves the problem.
