    The Tint Snob Thread

Re: The Tint Snob Thread . Nichia 219 4000k XP-L (HI) Osram KW CSLNN1 love this emitter but a little on the high side for color. I also like the Samsung 351D. I have several new lights but it's hard to justify a favorite because the quantity of lights I own. I own more with these 2 emitters...

whats your profession and whats your light for it?

I have a friend who is an Airplane mechanic, this was a few years back but he was using a hand held flashlight, until I mentioned to try out a headlamp. He thanked me over and over again. For yourself I am not sure if the Fenix or wowtac has a magnet, but that may be helpful, I know...

whats your profession and whats your light for it?

Thanks guys! Your friend may not know this trick, he can check it out online. I do hope though that he never has to use a uv light it's a bad thing, in most states colonies with American Foulbrood are required to burn! Rob

    Reylight Gemini

I own 2, the nichia had a really nice tint, the coating is awesome, it almost feels rubbery! They are really bright and build quality is top notch. I'd highly recommend Reylight. Rob

Review: Nitecore HC35 (Headlamp, micro USB rechargeable, 21700, 4XPG3, 3000+ Lumens)

I thought the same thing about the light being bulky, but it doesn't feel bad at all. One downfall is the plastic holder for the light starts to hurt you head with extended use, but its bearable. I plan to add a put a foam pad there which will hopefully help with the issue. Rob

    Some Haiku Beam shots

Awesome beamshots! This is exciting, looks like more you'll get more throw with that tighter hotspot. Would this emitter work well with the makai head? Rob
