    Parts for sale?

So, my wife washed my D25A, I love that light. I can short it straight to the wall of the light and it comes one just fine, but the tail switch is out. I would really like to be able to purchase parts (i know its not a warranty thing). I have burned out switches before and I can no longer find...

How long can i leave 18650 batteries in a flashlight?

My modified surefire fell out of my pocket while putting up one of those 4ft deep walmart wading pools, I didn't realize it until the pool was full. Needless to say, it stayed under that pool liner (leaks, storms, and all) for an entire Texas summer (May-October). After we took everything down I...

Popular societal misconceptions...Can you add to the list?

I just read about one that will be on there in a few years, that all the cells in your body have the same DNA, apparently a much greater percentage of people are chimeras (composed of 2 or more distinct DNA strands) this has come up a few times and everyone thought it was pretty rare, a twin...

Compare your oldest light and your newest light

picked up a couple old eveready lights circa 1920 on ebay that still work, 10-15 bucks each, doesn't compare to my eagletac that blasts 800ish lumens out of a single AW 14500, but still kind of fun to show off especially for the price. One of the evereadys is a metal clamshell that seat 2 "C"...

    EagleTac D25A Clicky

had my D25A Ti for a couple months now and its been my EDC from day one, I love it. Runs great on AW 14500 IMRs. Runtime on high is 20-30ish minutes if you have asbestos gloves, but really med and low are perfect for anything long term. I LOVE this light, no issues. I really haven't noticed a...

    Eagletac D25C2 or D25C Clicky

I can't actually speak for the C version, but I have the single AA version in Ti (D25A) and its my favorite light for EDC. Plenty of runtime on these AW 14500 IMR. 800 lumens is fantastic from this little guy, and it can eat regular AAs too at a reduced output. I used to be a diehard CR123 guy...

Need recommendations for a EDC key chain AAA light

+1 for the thrunite Ti, love that little guy, and .02/60 lumens is pretty awesome output, i had to shorten the tube slightly to make my rechargeables work in it (lopped the top off an old AAA and dropped it in, but its really a good light and the price-to-output ratio is pretty great

battery holders/converters for obsolete batteries help please!

I guess I'll grab a couple 2xAA holders, I don't think I can fit 3xAAA inside the light, but I don't need.full power anyway, I have real flashlights for lighting, I can special order a 3V bulb too. It's just fun to restore these pretty old.lights (found each one for less than $20!) Thanks for...

battery holders/converters for obsolete batteries help please!

Yeah, I can get it to light by taping some AAs together, but the metal contacts on top of the old battery are very specific so I have to position wires perfectly, I was just hoping someone knew of an AA holder with the proper contact locations matching the old eveready

battery holders/converters for obsolete batteries help please!

I have searched everywhere to no avail. I have a couple of the eveready vest pocket lights from 1912 including a silver plated one. I can tape a couple AA batts together and finaggle some wire to make them work, but I want to know if someone makes a holder to replace the eveready tungsten 750...
