    SureFire P1R Peacekeeper rechargeable flashlight

Australia is getting a little weird with their shipping laws regarding Li ion batteries. Does the battery that comes with light come inside the light like all surefires?

    Quest for perfection.

It's been my experience that, when I first got into the hobby (Addiction), I was all about what other people thought about a light. I wouldn't look at the features of a light. I'd look at how someone else felt about those particular features. These days I have a good collection of lights and I...

    Testing cr123a Batteries

Hello everyone. I have a question about testing cr123a batteries. Firstly, I try and follow all the safety precautions when using lithium primaries but I don't exactly know how to test them. I have a volt meter, but I understand that lithium primaries generally run pretty flat, and the...

    Eagletac cr123a - Panasonic cell?

Hello, I'm in the process of buying some cr123a's in bulk and I've found an Australian vendor (I'm in Australia). He's told me that Eagletac cr123a's are actually Panasonic cells. I've never heard this before and it sounds a bit suss... Can anyone confirm or refute this? Regardless of the...

Surefire 6P switch. Is it up to the job?

I know you guys are speaking English but all the terminology is confusing. Can you point me to a resource I can read. I've not felt this out of step since first year law. I plan to run the light with 1 18650 battery with a low, med, high Nailbender drop-in.

Surefire 6P switch. Is it up to the job?

Hello everyone! This is actually my first topic so go easy. I realize the 6P has been around for donkeys years and is often the host for many custom builds. I've tried the search function and cannot find the answer. I know it's probably out there, but I can't seem to find it. I'll be running...

    Why do you like flashlights?

In Australia, you're not allowed to carry a knife political comment removed - Norm much less a gun. I have a torch on me at all times because I know it can help me defend my self. Plus I legitimately don't like the dark. I like the item of knowing my surroundings are in my control.

Incoming - What do you have coming in the mail??

I've been slightly depressed and for some reason it cheers me up to buy certain things. In normal circumstances I wouldn't have bought all these in a 3 day period, but I would have bought all these eventually. I guess I'll have to eat cheap and not go out this week. Surefire fury Surefire G2X...
