    Well...hate to say it, but took the xt12gt to work last night and it was doing the step down within a second...appears even tightening the tailcap with super human strength didn't solve the issue...QC? issue...

    I tried "really" tightening down the tailcap and it now appears to be working. thanks! I had tried already what I thought was a reasonable tightening of the internal tailcap piece and tailcap itself, but evidently it wasn't enough. The high mode is still only working on the klarus 3600mAh...

    List Lights that use PWM

    I have 3 klarus xt11...an original olive drab and two black...both the black have no visual on 123s, but on 18650 has quite noticeable levels on medium and low modes it drives me nuts using anything but hi mode. Have a xt15 and xt12gt x2 and nothing I can detect with my eyes.

    I find the 2014/2015 D25A Ti to be working nicely with the 14500 li-ion rechargeables. If you haven't tried em' tweedbucket, you should; they can get warm after a little use but giving the light a rest is an easy fix. I think the only problem with smaller sizes like the AA/AAA is no brand...
