Can you mount a Fenix LD22 onto an AR15? I was thinking that using AA betteries with 190 lumens would be pretty good if it can handle the recoil.
I have a Fenix TK41 for everything else. I don't want to mount that.
Thanks, yes mounting on say an AR15 would have significantly less recoil than on a 12GA with an 18" barrel shooting full power slugs.
I'm just wondering if anyone knows how well a Fenix LD22 would hold up under recoil. I really like using AA batteres because in a jam
you might not have eneloops...
Just wondering how well this light would hold up if mounted to an AR15 rifle?
My wife has an LD10 and I use a Nitecore D10 for edc.
But I will be going to events where a light is required for some stages.
I'd rather stick with AA batteries over pricey rechargeables.
I normally use eneloops but...
I look forward to seeing replies. I'm also looking for the same thing for an AR15 only I'll be mounting on a magpul fore stock.
Myself I would want either AA or AAA batteries because i have a boatload of those and also I run sanyo eneloops in my other lights.
My all time favorite light is the...
My Eneloops are 4 years old. I use them in my Nitecore D10 and a Fenix L01 I believe, as it's my wife's EDC and I never see it anymore.
I also use them for a lot of stuff around the house. I don't use them in anything where they might get tossed out or in my remote controls.
They have...
Ok thanks, I would run eneloops in the TK41 as I said but if those drain down I will have to resort to alkalines. The point being is that it's possible to run alkalines in a pinch. Days with no power means no way to recharge the eneloops. I've been using old plastic D-cell lights but they are so...
I really want a Fenix and I like this size. The TK50 would run alkalines in it, this is for a house light so it'll get used a lot and then sit for a while.
I like the idea of being able to use alkalines when the rechargeables run out during a power outage.
The other option is the TK41 I'd...
I know this is an old thread but I didn't want to start a new one. I'm looking at getting a Big light for the house. I EDC my Nitecore D10 but I want a bigger light. I'm looking at the Fenix TK41 and the Fenix TK50. I have no problem using eneloops in a TK41 but I lik eteh idea that in a pinch...
I carry my D10 everyday and I have since I got it in 2008. It's a true classic and I'm glad I have it. I do need to buy a larger light for other things but the D10 is the one I like to carry. It still blows peopel away with how bright it can get as well as how dim it can get. I use sanyo...
I am so glad I still have my D10 if the new D11.2's are having these problems. I found the best way to deal with battery drain on my 2008 D10 was to unscrew the tailcap a bit so that the rear switch becomes a momentary switch. That has saved my battery many times. A quick tightening and it's...
My last LED light was a Nitecore D10. Do they even make that light any more? It's a good EDC light using a sanyo eneloop.
Now I need a light for the house and want either a Fenix TK50 or a Fenix TK41 same basic size but I kind of like havng the availablity to use D cells but then again I have a...
