    Zebralight love

I love my H501W. The best headlamp I have ever owned, hands down. The floody beam is absolutely perfect for 98% of the tasks you would need a headlamp for. I also glued magnets on the tailcap on mine which makes even that much more versatile. Much love for the Zebra ;)

Seriously thinking of picking up a Ra clicky... *UPDATE AND PICS POST 34*

    Hand's free walking light

+1 for the Zebralight 501W. I just got one a few weeks ago and absolutely love it.

Re: Decisions, decisions... If you are getting the Ra Clicky you don't have to worry about overdischarging your cells. The light ramps down brightness levels when the battery gets to a low enough voltage, thus letting you know when your battery is getting low. It's another one of many, well...

    Eagletec M2XC4 TRIPLE CREE R2

Awesome light you ordered, I absolutely LOVE mine! Very bright, with great throw. And I also suggest you install the clickie switch as I did with mine. I think the original tailcap looks better, but the clickie tailcap makes the light more functional as it allows momentary activation. With a...

How many flashlights do you EDC?

I always carry at least 2-3 lights with me at all times. Those 3 lights are my Ra Clicky, which is clipped in my right front pocket, my Quark MiNi 123 which rides on my keychain, and the Muyshondt Aeon which will ride in the bottom of a pocket. At work I always add a third light with more reach...

Re: Decisions, decisions... I use the Ultafire WF-139 which seems to work good for me. I know it's not the "best" charger out there, but it does it's job just fine for me, and it's been doing it for 2+ years now. As far as batteries go, I prefer AW's protected RCR's. I have used many...

Decisions, decisions... (Solved! See page 2!)

Re: Decisions, decisions... If you were able to hold both the Quark and Ra in your hand, you would immediately feel where the extra money went into the Ra. It is one of the most comfortable, solid lights I have ever held in my hand. The Quark would feel like it's made from plastic in...

Too many of the same class of light?

I always at the very least have my Ra Clicky clipped in my front pocket, and my Quark MiNi123 on my keychain. The Quark on the keychain acts as a spare battery carrier(and a good one at that) for my Clicky. Lately I have also been carrying my Aeon as well, because I love it's small size and long...

    Everglades Challenge 2010

A headband comes with the Zebralight :) Remember to bring along a few extra sets of batteries, don't want to be left in the dark!

Re: Decisions, decisions... I agree, Quarks offer the most light for the money right now. If overall build quality and durability are of concern, go with the Ra. I own a couple Quark MiNi's and they are awesome little pocket rockets, but my Ra Clicky would crush one if they went to battle. My...

Decisions, decisions... (Solved! See page 2!)

Re: Decisions, decisions... Ra Clicky all the way! It's hands down the best EDC light at it's price point. It has all the features you are looking for, and the current style flush tailcap will tailstand.

What Are The Most Rugged Flashlights?

I already posted in this thread saying how tough the Twisty is, but I just wanted to throw another vote out for the Muyshondt Aeon.

My first LED EDC light, suggestions??

I'm telling you, look into the Ra Clicky. It has all the things you are looking for in a light. 1. It's under 1" in diameter 2. It can be carried in your front pocket at all times. 3. It's made in the USA 4. Has the best runtime out of all 1xCR123 lights 5. Wide profile beam available 6. One...
