    Used the Fenix MC10 to distract my niece while feeding her. Poor little girl is sick and doesn't want to eat or drink anything... It worked! :)

    Been sleeping with one close to hand for about 2-3 years. Never felt any worries. Well, I guess I would be worried if I can't find one when I wake up. :)

    Weird Question: Best Handheld Light for Foreign Travel?

    I think almost any AA light would be the best choice. Compact, easy to find batteries, and with newer lights, 100 lumens and long runtimes are not an issue. Fenix LD10, Quark AA, Sunwayman V10A etc etc.

    There is a possibility of course. Their market range has expanded pretty crazily these past few years judging by the posts here. They seem to be readily available in most parts of Europe and Asia and am pretty sure in the US too.

    Go for the granddaddy of USA made lights, Surefire if you're intent of getting a USA made light.
