    According to the SF website, the lens or window is polycarbonate. This concerns me for scratch resistance ability. Does SF make any other lights with polycarbonate windows? Anyone have experience with the scratch resistance of polycarbonate?

    I have a Fenix TK-40 and was wondering how the G5 would compare in terms of throw? It took owning one light with a floody beam for me to figure out that I am a throwy light kinda guy. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. lovecpf

When I take my dogs for a walk at night I wear the EZAA around my neck on a lanyard and it seems to be enough for me to spot things at a reasonable distance. Can I run Energizer Lithiums in the EZAA?     I recently acquired an E1B Backup in silver and I really like it. For a single cell light, the throw is very surprising. I got lucky with the emitter though, nice and white and centered perfectly. Get the E1B, you won't be disappointed!!! :twothumbs

    The SureFire A2L thread

    Thanks for the info. I use a red beamcover on my lx2 and I don't really get enough flood to make it really useful for up close use. It works nicely on far objects, and kills my batteries because I have to keep it on high to get any semblance of flood from it. I'll be picking an A2L up here soon...
