Lighthound 3W Led module or BOG 3W Led module (I use the one from Lighthound in my 6P, which has the same size head as your 3P).
I also use a rechargeable 123 ( I use a 17670, which your 3P could not :) )
It works fine, and a similar setup would work in your 3P!
I have an old SF 6P with a G&P 3W and I am using a 17670 cell in it . It is very bright, and I like the tint. I don't know how long the 17670 will power it, this is not an EDC setup so it is not used everyday.
I like mine.
It's still too new to have run down the first battery.:grin2: I'll let you know.
I decided on this configuration to avoid running two lithium's.:dedhorse:
I am running a G&P 3W module (Lighthound), and 17670 in my 6P. It's doesn't seem to be as bright as my EDC B42XRGT (critically measured by my 53YO eyes :grin2: ), but it is still an eye-popper.
Could one put the electronics from an HDS charger inside the DSD Charging cradle, "robbing the cradle", as it were? (I know, I know, :awman: I couldn't help it :grin2: ). I use one charger to charge the battery for my EDC B42 XR GT, and the other to charge the 17670 for my SF 6P with 3W Led...
No offense intended, but did you just throw that out, or did you test it. I kept
mine on for about a week, but missed my flashlight too much, and ended the
test early. After a week, the battery was still strong. Anyway, I believe you.
:grin2:
I have a 6P with the G&P 3W led module from Lighthound. Can I power it with a single 17670? I think I have that right. A 17670 is twice as long as a CR123?
I tried a search and did not find anything exactly on point.
