im wasting too much gas money driving to work and back. started riding my bike, but im not happy with the headlight im currently using...because drivers out here pay no attention to the road. if it were up to me, i would attatch my surefire. but i dont know of any reliable mounts that will fit...

    surefire bike mount

hey happy late 4th of july. im new to bicycling and i got my mind set on using a surefire to light my path. all i have is a e2dl. i keep it at home though. so what is a good light to use? right now they got that deal 30% off the e1b backup, and the outdoorsman. and maby i should buy the...

    Anyone think you're weird?

If being prepared is wired then it's a good thing to be wierd. Too many people* worry about fitting in and they become someone their not. If 2 is 1 and 1 is none, then I'd prefer 2 lights on my person at all times. We just are more aware of the tremendous advantage a flashlight can have in the...

    Pelican 2360 2xAA 110 lumen two mode?

Im right with you, this seems like a really good light. I was excited about the new mini maglite pro + being 2 AA at 245 lm. But it drops real fast to about 80 steady lumens. So I started looking for other 2aa lights to compare. I'm pretty much sold on this pelican, but I really wana see runtime...

Maglight Solitaire - Why not an LED?

Maglite has been a American household name. Everyone has had a maglite, known for dependability. Yes there are a lot of competitors from overseas, but none have lifetime warranties, and I suspect their not completely honest with their ANSI/fl1 standards. I really do hope they find this these and...

Can you find the better light from these 2 selections

Im indisisive between these 2 penlights. Would you be so kind as to take a look and let me know the pros and cons that you experts can see. I hope im not violating the rules by posting the links to the product pages for the info you need to review the light if your kind enough to do so for me...

    Maglite Tailcap Stuck

What a shame, now I don't know what to do with it. Should I just keep it in my house to pay respects to the og flashlight, and use it as a club. Or send it to maglite. They say if the battery's are of a certaint 3 brands, they will send a new light free of charge...but I don't know what kind of...

    Maglite Tailcap Stuck

Desperately need help taking off a stuck tailcap for my 2C maglite. I've had it for about 7 years or so. Way before I appreciated flashlights. I dont even remember if I have battery's in the light. The reflector it lightly eroded. But I don't want to give up on this light. It's like finding an...

    Everyday carry (EDC)

HID blue, thanks for all the cargo/tactical pant companies, more variety the better. much appreciated. TEEJ-i just watched GoingGears review on the XT11, that really is a beast, i'm glad it can use 18650's as well as 2 cr123's. it has way more featured than my e2dl. and you can access strobe...

    Everyday carry (EDC)

That would definatly save me money instead of buying $50 pants. And give me more pocket space. But I'd prefer the light in a lower leg pocket. everybody's input is balued, thanks for your 2 cents...that's why I joined this forum, eventually I'll be very wealthy (in knowledge that is)

    Everyday carry (EDC)

I like my pants somewhat baggy. The 5.11 pants look to foot a little too snug for me. An 18650 light would be pretty nice due to the rechargeable aspect. Any flashlight sugestions that take 18650s. The brighte the better on high, and a decent low with good runtime.

    Everyday carry (EDC)

Being a "flashaholic" is somewhat of a lifestyle choice. with the realization of how important of a tool a light is, especially being very versatile, such as a ilumantion device to help with work, self deffence, or a signaling device. Most desirable handheld lights usually consists of 2 cr123...

    war of the pen lights

seems like they all have their pros and cons. if i had enough money i would buy all of them. thanks alot for your input. now instead of impulse buying on a light, im going to have to really think about what suits me best for my needs, now that i have some good info. and to the moderators i think...
