    Recommend a practical LEP.

I've also been looking into an LEP for the collection. Does anyone have thoughts on the Jetbeam RRT-M2S? I have a Jetbeam TH20 Guardian which is a great LED light, and I'd think the RRT-M2S would be a great light as well.

New Peak 5 Million candlepower spotlight

UPDATE: I bought a 6000K 55W HID kit off Amazon, I still haven't bought the 12V battery since I'm looking for one that will fit in the light, but that's next on the parts list.

New Peak 5 Million candlepower spotlight

Hey! So I know this an old thread, but since writing this thread, I have installed/had experience with HIDs in my truck for headlights (In projector lenses of course!) and came up with this idea... What if I used a similar 12V HID kit that you'd use in a car/truck headlight with the ballast and...

    Fenix TK45 in Prometheus

I knew it! I just watched Prometheus yesterday and I could have swore that flashlight I was seeing was the Tk45. I'm glad I found this thread. ;) On a side note, the movie definitely has a lot of references from all those 80s-90s movies like Alien, Predator, The Thing, Species, etc. It was...

    LED headlight/fog-light accents on a 2004 Ford F-150

I'm assuming puddle lights have to be off whilst driving though right? Otherwise they turn into ground effects?

    LED headlight/fog-light accents on a 2004 Ford F-150

It works great when I get out of the truck, As soon as I open the door, there is a flood of light on the ground, and I can't even see the led strip because it's far enough down on the edge of the frame. Even from the angle in the new picture, compared to the previous picture, the led strip just...

    LED headlight/fog-light accents on a 2004 Ford F-150

I moved the led strips down to the very bottom edge of outside of the cab. Now they shine straight down at the ground. They light up the ground much better, and they don't have that blinding effect anymore. They are still not visible when the doors are shut, although it would look kickass...

    LED headlight/fog-light accents on a 2004 Ford F-150

It could have been, but then the angled strips by the license would have been added by the owner. The spacing of leds under the headlights on the Sentra look farther apart than the vehicle I saw though.

    LED headlight/fog-light accents on a 2004 Ford F-150

Last night I saw led strips on a newer car, I think it was a chevy, but I couldn't tell because it was past sunset. The two bottom strips were diagonal near the sides of the license plate making a big "v" shape and then there were strips under the headlights. I wish I could have snapped a...

    LED headlight/fog-light accents on a 2004 Ford F-150

I will have to look closer at how I could mount them on the doors. I agree, they are quite bright when your eyes aren't adjusted to the light. I'd say go for it! They help a lot.

    LED headlight/fog-light accents on a 2004 Ford F-150

My 04 F-150 has turn signal LEDs built-in to the mirrors, I really like them too because they are visible to drivers behind me.
