I own just about evey Olight made. I have never had a single issue with any of them. They are my favorite flashlight maker. I do hate the new trend towards non changeable batteries and the new switch location, I'm a tail switch kind of guy.
I put lights to hard use, I've dropped them in oil...
I've always liked Nitecore lights and I have many of them, only ever had issues with the batteries. Just about every Nitecore battery I've owned becomes unchangeable if you discharge them to low, they are supposed to have a protection circuit that shuts them down once they reach minimal voltage...
I have all tree lights mentioned comparing the SR95s UT to the M3Xs UT though the biggest difference is the tint with the SR95 being a lot cooler the yellowish tint that the M3X has doesn't bother me but I wish it were cooler tint as far as beam I like the SR a little more the column of light is...
I have the Olight S10 with magnetic tail cap its the first one before the charging tail cap design its a good light and I do like magnetic lights. I guess my biggest problems with them as work lights is you don't always have a surface facing your work to stick them to. I could wedge them into...
Jon A pound of lights is minor to what I carry in tools, my tool bag is nearly 110 lbs lol. thank the good lord this old Man can pull up pretty close to most of the equipment I work on. I'm really excited about the SC5 I have a bunch of eneloop Pro batteries for that light and hadn't planned...
Thanx folks for all the replies I bought the EA11 and the Zebralight SC5 as well as the SC62 will put the SC5 in my pocket EA11 on my belt for those times when I need BRIGHT and run the SC62 for general work no way in hell I'm running out of light at work now. I have the greatest wife on the...
Yeah I looked at that light as well the SC62. I have nearly 60 18650 cells. I just didn't want to carry a ton of cells around with me. I travel for my job working on equipment so being able to stop at a local store and grab a pack of AA batteries is a plus hence the reason I wanted a light that...
I've looked at the Mt10A and its impressive pretty much same as the AE11 except for design and a few more Lm, I am however impressed with the Zebralight SC5 cranking out 500Lm on a single AA battery that's insane. I may just grab that one as a pocket light. so rite now I'm leaning towards the...
Yep I know flashlight pretty well I'll be using this light for work. I'm an Industrial truck tech. I want max brightness for looking into deep areas of the unit like the Booms since most lights now days have low and med modes those will be used for general work once problems are discovered. I...
I personally only use Olight batteries in Olights just personal pref but any good brand name cell like olight, nitecore that's protected should do the job. I always look for highest mAh. I would go with new cells so you can marry them together, using stray cells isn't a good idea
