    Where you live might be a big factor beyond laws, too... LED's don't throw enough heat to stay clear in snowy situations. Just a thought for you!

    If I may suggest, check your state laws about adding lights with your high beams... Many jurisdictions stipulate that there must be a cutout so that fog/driving lights work with the low beams but NOT the high beams. Just a thought!

    There are some addendums to that, however. One is that the light source/bulb not be visible. Front facing lights must be white or amber, however "blue white" light sources are acceptable, which is what I believe we have here.. they're not really blue LED's, they're "blue white".
