You know, EVERYONE parrots that line, but just how true is it??
I’m 58, so conservatively have been using batter powered devices for a minimum of 45 years.
I’ve had ONE battery leak. It just ain’t worth worrying about IMO.
The original RCR123’s and 16340’s were 3.7v.
Not sure when the 3.2v became common, although it has been quite awhile.
So, yes nowadays you do have to pay attention to the voltage.
However,

I just received one of your M1 modules and M1 surefire from the marketplace and have a question.
I currently am waiting on a new batch of rechargeable 123's, so have been playing with this with a 3v primary battery.
The unit is labelled 1.4 amps, which should be OK with primaries...
