Quality outdoor lighting/wall pack that isn't China junk?

Units - one to start. A good test result would lead to a fair amount of publicity and residual sales for the company tho. Lumen - As much as possible Distribution - 120deg approximately, as evenly as possible. Warranty - I think it would be price dependent. The Chinese lights don't carry any...

Quality outdoor lighting/wall pack that isn't China junk?

A light from a modern, state of the art factory would be completely acceptable. But there is absolutely no way to tell which products come from those factories and which come from a dirt floor work shop using cut-rate materials. If anyone has had good luck with anything, please let me know...

Quality outdoor lighting/wall pack that isn't China junk?

I'm looking for basic 50w/120v warm white outdoor lights. There are TONS of the Chinese type in various qualities on Amazon and Ebay, but I have only found 1 light that is even using a Bridgelux chip (LED Waves- Owl Outdoor Wall Pack). Are there others? I know I can build something, but looking...

    large driver question

I put in underscores on each side of the dot after www in the above links after Langham said they needed to be taken down. So they're dead links for site restrictions, just remove the underscores and it will connect. something else to consider, I'm not looking for 100,000 hours of life out of...

    large driver question

Not calling anyone out, just couldn't understand howthere were 100+ views with no response. Incorrect PN is a valid explanation. Iam also busy, hence the typo. Why do you recommend the cree over the bridgelux? Personalpreference, product quality issue… Absolutely, separate heat sink for each...

    large driver question

I was also in a hurry, those are terrible examples now that I have a minute to look at them. It was more of a general question. I know the rule of thumb is CC for a single light, CV for lights in series. Because I'm running lights in parallel, I don't know which is more correct. emitter -...

    large driver question

If I wanted to run 3 of these Bridgelux BXRA-27-E7000 emitters on 3 different heat sinks, can I run them in parallel off a single Excelsys LVX300-036SW (or similar) constant voltage driver? Am I going to overload anything or burn stuff up? can I push it to 4 emitters?

LED heat sink questions and help

there are some boats that do a tower to get a better angle on the water. it's pretty regional, mostly offshore ocean guys do that. freshwater the fish are always in the shallows against the bank. overhanging trees along the shoreline pretty much rule out towers for 98% of bowfishing rigs. water...

LED heat sink questions and help

the boat is always moving, it's the nature of the sport. underwater isn't a bad idea except most people don't want to cut holes in a $20k boat. That and the fear of dying when the light gets busted out on a rock or a stump and the boat starts taking on water...

LED heat sink questions and help

forgot to mention that nearly every boat has a generator. So power options can be 12vdc, 24vdc, or 120vac.

LED heat sink questions and help

 I think there would be a much bigger following if that were true... I’ve searched and read everything that has been postedalready, not much relevant. Most seem to be from bank shooters and floundergiggers. Here are some pictures to give you an idea what we’re working with: This one...

    My 100 Watt LED (pictures)

So I'm new, and slow. What are the copper tubes? Do they have some kind of fluid in them? I've never seen LEDs that were anything except air cooled with an aluminum heat sink.
