Armytek Dobermann (XP-L HI) review, anyone? Where are reviews on Armytek lights?

I don't know, the MD2 has been rock solid. I guess it's just the feeling of getting something new :D

Thanks. I'm getting obsessed with this light to replace my Malkoff MD2 w/ M61W (first batch, so it's neutral) as my duty light. Are the problems resolved? Is a new V3.5 or V4 planned?

What's the difference between the Dobermann and the Dobermann Pro? I'm comparing the manuals, except for the peak candelas and the extra firefly mode, it's pretty much the same. Is this right?

Colors/tint rendition is pretty close, 219 being slightly better (and I really mean slightly). If you need throw, don't hesitate and get the N. I tried working with the 219, but it was too floody (LEO work). The 219 is now in my "home" light.

New Malkoff MDC in the works.

Those MDC measurements are for CR123 or AA?

M61 is throwy, 219 is floody.

I would go with M61N or M61 219, depending if you need more throw or flood.

Working day shifts, could be there, but won't be able to stay long. It also depends on the overtime...

This. As a LEO myself, go neutral. Seeing something because you see it right, with the right colors, could save your life.
