    21700 Malkoff possibility

    MD3 would not really work with 21700 cells. MD2 and MD4 would be great. I wonder why Gene did not use the opportunity for a full redesign of his bodies now that he made the switch to the pineapple style.

    That spacer is cool, I think I will make one for my MD4. Maybe in combination with a (shorter) ring magnet so it cannot get lost and the aluminum core for better conductivity.

    Just compared the threads of 9n and 9AN, they have the same diameter but a different pitch. However, to attach a KT4 should be rather easy. You would just need an aluminum adapter with threads on both ends. Two 21700 and the bulb fit in perfectly. Would make a great incan Surefire flashlight...
