    Thanks for all the replies! I emailed Gene and he set me up with an MDC 18650 body and an e2xtd head. Stretched the budget a little, and no low setting, but I think 15 minute run time and 70k lux scratches my itch.

    Thank you! I think both of those are too big for pocket carry since the diameter of the head is so large. Also, no pocket clip. The Elzettas have pretty poor lumen and candela ratings compared to weapon light stuff. Maybe they're just more honest, I don't know. If you have a specific model...
