Looking for a bag to put on my belt for hiking

Yep, LowePro pouches are very handy. I have 2 of them. They come in different sizes, can hold a variety of items and can be attached to a belt or used with straps around the shoulder or waist. I got them at a photo supply shop in Chicago.

[Computer Security] Adobe Reader and Acrobat need patching. Attacks now underway.

Re: [Computer Security] Adobe Reader and Acrobat (full) need patching After reading reviews of how much a memory hog the latest Adobe reader was and how slow it was, I decided to try Foxit. It's much faster than my older Adobe reader and doesn't crash like Adobe did.

Is BigFoot real and have we been to the moon???

Bigfoot is BIG BS! Watched a Netflix video last weekend called In the Shadow of the Moon. It's a must see. It's the story of the Apollo program including recent interviews with the Apollo astronauts. I found it mesmerizing. I was walking along the shoreline in Monroe Harbor, Chicago when...

What light do you use in the rain?

If I have a choice I'll grab any of my Princeton Tec's (Surge, Tec 40, Impact II, EOS) but I wouldn't hesitate to use most lights having O-rigs if that's what's available.

IPASS transponder work on your dashboard?

Does your IPASS transponder successfully get tolls deducted if it sits on your dashboard as you pass through the toll booth? Or does it only work if it's velcroed to your windshield? I've always kept my transponder out of sight and hold it to the windshield as I pass through the toll booth...

The "fun" would be in sneaking up on your "prey" and then illuminating it with whatever light source you want. :poke:

Would night-vision goggles be a better alternative to a bright light?

How do poeple waterproof their batteries?

Waterproofing batteries? That's a new one for me. Waterproof cases and flashlights, yes. Waterproof batteries? Lithium primaries, for example, need to vent. Please explain.

    Any PT Surge/Torrent Users?

I have an old Surge. I wouldn't call it a "dinosaur." It's the brightest light in my collection and fits the bill when I need it.

Washington DC Handgun Ban - Overturned by SCOTUS

We now retrieve the right to own a gun but I believe the ruling still may allow municipalities to "regulate" how you can possess or use a weapon. Chicago and some of it's surrounding suburbs currently ban ownership of handguns. The new ruling may allow one to protect one's home from now on but...

Re: Tent light. Princeton Tec Eco Flare might fit the bill although it takes 2 AAA's. http://www.flashlightreviews.com/reviews/pt_ecoflare.htm
