    Sliced finger open while retrieving item from pocket

    Some nasty cuts here! I topped them all sticking my left hand into a still spinning table saw blade and severely cut my left index finger and thumb. This was back when I was still a knifemaker and it put me out of business for months!

    Yes you can strop your blade on the edge of a window, the bottom of a ceramic coffee mug or even on jeans or cardboard!

    Yea I was in a hurry when I asked that. I was suprised when one of mine showed up less than real sharp but corrected that with my Wicked Edge sharpener.

    Phoenix, AZ. Going to leave light in car as an experiment.

    I live in Pahrump, NV just outside of Vegas and I just pulled a Led Lenser Tac Torch (3 AAA batteries) out of my truck last night to see if it worked. It's been in there a year probably and it lit up just fine - I was suprised!

    Why do you like flashlights?

    I started carrying a light with me the same time I started carrying a gun - they really go together and I have been in a casino in Vegas when the power went out so the light was very useful. But guns, knives, lights, watches they all have a great appeal to me. :)

    What did you use your flashlight for today?

    Used the SF Fury to find a lost screw outside in front of the house - I took off a light housing because the light quit working and the wind blew it off the ledge where I left it. Found it though!

    I have 3 SF lights, a G2 Nitrolon, a Fury 500 lumen and a L2 Lumamax. Love 'em but I am just now starting to see how getting drop-in modules is a good way to go! First post!
