    I dropped a Sunwayman V11R. Now it won't turn on.

    That is odd. I have a M11R and have dropped it about four times onto asphalt from pants pocket height (while removing car keys) causing nicks to the bezel. Still works fine. Maybe the V11R isn't as robust as the M11R. I need to send sunwayman an email about getting a new bezel for my M11R...

    Leupold Flashlights

    It may not be an answer to your question but I think you can do better (performance and pricewise) looking elsewhere. I suspect or hypothesize that Leupold has a third party mfg making their lights.

    Bought a Fenix TK40 for a very good price (less than a ben franklin... new too), got it in on Friday the 24th.. I think the vendor I got the light from went to the new Fenix TK41 black plastic battery carriers cause it's not the same construction as the ones being reviewed on this site...

    October 2010: Lights you bought this month!

    Finally gave in and got a Maelstrom G5. Giving up my Fenix P3D to use as a bike light (the Urnabeam conked out and will not turn on anymore despite dismantling it and giving it good cleaning and deoxitizing it) so I'll be carrying the G5 in the P3D's old spot of my maxpedition day pack.

    That's why I can't seem (or haven't found the need) to find a suitable replacement for it as an EDC light as it seem to play this role quite well..

    Problems with Eagletac

    get a small precision needle nose plier and you have yourself a tail switch removal tool... several of my lights have the same setup, so the precision needle nose came in handy.

    Huntlight FT-01

    gave my ft-01 w/ cree led to my brother... i needed forward push on lights so the ft-01 sat in the drawer unused for a year as a backup. Overall design was nice.

    3rd annual,What flaslight did you find most useful for halloween?

    Nitecore Extreme with 16oz water bottle cap diffuser set on strobe (for crossing streets) and ROP Lo Mag2D all around illumination... well at least that would be my gear if I would go trick or treating... I'll report back in 5 or 6 years time (hopefully by then, it'll be like daytime...

    Xeno flashlights

    Like the old saying goes (for the rectangular shaped) : "Why didn't I think of that?".... Looks like something I would buy. I like the square thread construction.. have yet to get a light with square threads.
