    So the answer is NOT. they did not invent something new, just reinvented the placement. It is just a bunch of small, low current operated emitters in a row, in a tube , that is then aligned into a glass bulb, to look like incadescent bulb.

    Where is the beef? between 2 and 3 here, did you happen to have a rested voltage reading for the cell(s)? and your using/displaying a ni-mh graph because that was the only way to get to the desired cut-off voltage point for discharge?
