    What was the light that got you hooked as a hobbyist? Still have it?

    Alway liked and lights. Nothing beyond mags and pistol grip spots. Got tired of replacing spots. Researched and got an Eagletac T20C2 and some modules. Still have it, it's a permanent uv light now for my wife's rock and gem hobby.

    Headlamps for mining

    Not sure what the ratings are, but am guessing since for fire fighters, being around flammables would be needed. Might call FoxFury and see if any of their models might work.

    There is a post here in the battery section on how to reset them if you don't know how. Pretty simple and works well. If successful, and if you view as reasonably safe, charge and see if it holds.

    Looking for red LED light to replace old Gerber Infinity....

    I bought some as gifts. Ended up with a couple of my own. Might look at Gerber Recon. Same AA infinty body, with a head that has a rotating lens with red/white/blue/green on it. For sub $20, not a bad little light. Not the most modern or efficient but solid little lights.

    I like the new ones tbh. Same just upgraded some. I think a XHP70 would likely melt it. A single smaller led or a bit of throw if needed with the reflector, pop in the frosted lens and you got pure flood, or the blue/red/green for whatever they are used for.

    Easy. 250 lumen. Have a decent amount of single mode lights. Used the malkoff 2-3d xpg drop in and Nailbender xre optic p60 XRE the most. Maybe of any of my lights. Enough to see further away but not so much as to be blinding. Solid run times at that level as well. Can always filter...

    Due to cost, probably go with the Tenergy and a decent charger, if only getting 6. I have not bought nimh d in a long time. Have Tenergy blue, a few Centuras, some Powerex and Titaniums. Not sure some are even made any more. To be honest, never really noticed a difference, all still work...
