My Daughter wants her 1st Flashlight

My four year old wants her own too. When we walk the dog she loves waving a flashlight around. I would exercise caution and go for something of limited output. I gave her my Jetbeam PC10 set to low (head loose) although she also loves my Nitecore SENS AA which is great for little hands.

    Jetbeam Jet 3M Pro - 2014 (XP-L, 1x18650, 2x(R)CR123A) Review

My 3M is in the post. I have a Jetbeam PC10, and a Ws4 searchlight (name?). Both excellent, but I had a recent bad experience when I ordered a defective M1X. Should Strobe Be Eliminated From Most Lights?

Less strobe, more beacon. Oh , and it needs more cowbell.

Why Led Lenser's flashlight so bad?

I have a Lenser MT7, a P7 , a V2, a P2 and an assortment of Fenix units, a Surefire and some aged Maglites. I have had no bad experiences with the Lensers, and found them to be competent, effective and rugged. I do wonder if there is some Not-Invented-Here veiled criticism of these units...
