Adding Extension Strips To Hue Strip LEDs Doesn't Increase Lumen?

Philips have a new version of their Hue LED strip lights out, with a starter kit of mains transformer + 2m strip for sale as well as extension 1m strips. The 2m strip is reported as having 1600 lumen output, and the 1m (predictably) 800 lumen. I was thinking about getting 10m or so to replace...
