Got the XT11 in yesterday with a Remote tail switch. Pretty simplistic packaging with a Plastic tray inside to hold everything together. Comes with basic accessories and a replacement boot cap
Long story short, this light has either no spot or too smooth of a transition between throw and flood...
Eagletac G25C2..non neutral
or
Klarus XT11 (Love that dual switch in that back for instant strobe...remote tape switch does not retain the instant strobe)
or on a completely different note...
Dereelight Night Master
I was looking at the Sunwayman T20CS for the longest time. It has all the accesories we need it for a weapon light : Remote tape switches in 2 styles and a 1" Body. I couldn't buy it due to the fact it's runtime graph on MAX was horrible, it steps down and trickles to nothingness
Also want to...
I've done some reading regarding this light and Li-Ion cells.
This light fit the AW 17670 just barely, you may need to remove the AW sticker.
Given that, I would probably send it out to have it bored to accept 18mm Diameter cells
Good call, good call. I should double check my calculations.
Also, a 5000k to 8300k XP-G at 1.5A will only get ~406 Emitter Lumens with a forward voltage of 3.3V, would that equate to 3.3 Watts. The idea of 8W and 500+ Lumens is right here today, and it isn't too hard to wire it up yourself...
Fromy my understanding, Watts = Amperes X Volts
8 W = 1.5V x 1.66 A
1.5V and 1.66Amps is barely any energy to begin with, at all. The 500 Lumen claim seems like a bust with my explanation, am I wrong?
Just to add to selfbuilt's already amazing review, here's some information "FYI"
The included Lanyard with my V10A T-6(XML) is actually not Paracord of any kind. The inside material is a Nylon braid
I also wanted to point out that most if not the majority of "UltraFire" branded batteries on online shops such as DX and KD are counterfeit.
I spoke with UltraFire(Wa Fat) and they are not distributing their products through KD or DX, there's also counterfeits of their flashlights that are...
Nope, unfortunately the market for this light is more dedicated to LEO, where they need to use CR123's.
I find it sad too but we'll have to live with that. One would hope 4Sevens will make a special carrier, but I know the space is limited within the body
Re: JTICE REVIEW - 4Sevens Maelstorm S18
Can this light use 18350's? It looks as if the CR123's are just squeezing into the carriage, which could mean it'll only fit 16340's and CR123
Thanks
