Post your Nichia 219 4500k beamshots

Hey bansuri, How does the Nichia compare to the XP-G R3 3A's you had a while back? Those are still my favorite tint.

ITP A1 EOS SS / REPAIR

Listen to purelite. Sounds like a bad battery to me too. If not, I would add that you should clean and re-seat the spring as well. Pay particular attention to the battery tube face(it makes contact with the outer ring on the PCB.) Good luck and :welcome:.

Mako AA Flood - Would you want one?

OMG! Gotta have a clip,Gotta have a clip,Gotta have a clip,Gotta have a clip! Yes, I'm interested. (That is, if I can somehow afford it....life hasn't been kind to me lately.:()

    Foursevens Preon P0

Wow! Thanks for the disassembly vinhnguyen54. Is the glow powder glued to the same board as the LED? I hope not. I assume the LED is surface mounted which might make it tricky to swap out without desoldering the components on the other side of the board.

Mako 1xAAA: the most important flashlight i've ever owned

WOW! From "pipe dream" to "sold out" in two weeks! I picked a bad time to take a break from CPF.:ohgeez: I guess it's for the best, cause my wife just wouldn't understand my need for the preciousssss. :shakehead Congrats to those who scored.

    Zebralight SC80

Thanks for the feedback and pics guys. This is a very exiting light! Again, ZL proves themselves to be the most innovative, forward thinking company out there. I hope they continue to improve and innovate. A couple things I'd like to see for this light is a replaceable/bypass able...

    Zebralight SC80

Re: ZEBRA SC80 The only thing that worries me is that the sleeve/spacer appears to be positively charged. The only thing preventing it from shorting out would be the coating on the inside of the battery tube.

    LED light in the rain!

I love it when B0wz3r gets all scholarly! This reminds me of a similar thread about moonlight and wavelength absorption. One of the things I love about CPF is that highly specialized/educated people take the time to share their knowledge for the benefit of the community:thumbsup:.........even...

    AAA Titanium

I think I need a bib. @sgt.led: Seem like the Klarus MiX6 Ti, and Arc Ti/McGizmo Sapphire would be perfect candidates.

    Zebralight SC80

I see, so the 123 bore is towards the tail. That's a really cool idea. I'm surprised nobody tried it before. I figured since the AAA was longer than the 123 contact shouldn't be a problem. So it's possible this light could(in theory)take AAA, AA and cr123.......I like that.

    Zebralight SC80

:faint: So, is this a front loader? Or would the spring be attached to the + contact in the head. In theory, couldn't an AAA work with this setup as well? Wrapping it up of course, to keep it centered in the tube.

    Nitecore T0 (AAA)

Update #2 My curse lives on......it's dead.:mecry: I had just told somebody the other day that the "ultimate torture test" for a light was to let me try and mod it. I wanted to take some better pics of the PCB when I got home(which I did). When I popped it out I think I damaged the...

    Nitecore T0 (AAA)

Update: I did a runtime test with alkies against my daughters E01. As I said before it was definitely brighter to start but after 9hrs it was in moon mode. I don't know when it started the transition from sun to moon(I gotta sleep sometime!). Its almost 12hrs now and it's holding steady at the...

    Nitecore T0 (AAA)

Looky at what I got today! Package is standard fare. Splitring was attached already but I'll be removing it since it's pretty flimsy. Nothing else of interest, not even a spare o ring.:ironic: [/URL] For all you doubters......it really does tailstand. Will it fall over at the...

    Nitecore T0 (AAA)

^ Don't bet on it. It's the same Nichia GS as the E01. The steel wool treatment does help though.
