It's time for a new phone, as the battery on my Moto G7 Power is shot. I'm looking for a replacement that's $500 or less.

I'm really only interested in Android please.

I do not know if motorola has updated the 019 E6 but it's a throwback number with a replaceable battery and sd card slot.
Not for gaming, moving pictures etc due to a somewhat slow processor and uses micro usb instead of usb c charging. But the unlocked version was $175 last I checked. A Verizon pay as you go was $75 in 021.

It's a great little PDA that texts, takes pictures, and makes phone calls or plays music if that's all you seek.

Pixel 5a and then flash GrapheneOS over the stock OS. Purchase unlocked direct or via a brick and mortar (online or in-store). Don't opt for a (bootloader) locked carrier version. 2.5 years of guaranteed security updates from Google. Else, spring for a Pixel 6 with just over 4.5 years of updates. About as secure and private as it currently gets in the public sector.
