Firefox "almost-rant"

OK, who else is tired of non-responsive mouse clicks with Firefox?



Just to clarify, this is not a CPF complaint or issue... this is a Firefox-only problem.



Symptom: Two or three clicks later, a link will finally work... before that, no response on a link when I click. I'm close to dumping it for good.



I have XP set up for single click on all items, no probs with mouse or driver(s), every other piece of software and browser works fine on my system, and I did a search and this is all over the place on various forums as a known problem that Mozilla is not addressing. Every Firefox version I've tried is the same and I also tried it with all add-ons disabled.



Any comments/ideas appreciated!

download 4.0 This happened to me alot, but if i right clicked on the page it would let me left click. It was still annoying.

I've had this too, but only in the beta releases of 4.

Being beta, I don't have the right to complain if there's bugs

I tend not to get too upset about this sort of stuff.

I try to maintain an even strain also, but cumulative mouse events are finally getting to me. I tried ver. 4 but no change.

Have you tried creating and using a new profile?
