Haiku CR 123 Battery

I just got my grail light & need to purchase batteries. Shoudl I go rechargeable CR 123 or not use Surefire disposable batteries? If rechargeable, what brand & source would you recomend?

AW makes amazing batts. I'd recommend picking a couple up from Lighthound.

AW RCR123 works great for me.

Since the LE doesn't have low voltage warning or cutoff, I feel more comfortable using AW protected RCR123 (16340) black cells. I also generally top off the cell when it gets below 3.8 - just to sure I have a full cell if I need it. CR123 primaries have more capacity, but are not economical in the long run.

No, the red ones are IMR unprotected. The black ones are ICR protected.
