So I have looked around online quite a bit and the consensus seems to be that hazers are the best bet for lasers, specifically laser light shows of any kind. Fog machines work but the fog tends to stick low to the ground.
Since hazers are quite large (and quite expensive), does anyone have any thoughts on ways to get fog to diffuse better? Perhaps with a fan/ blower of some kind? On my last project I used some PVC piping to attach directly to the fog nozzle and created a kind of "fannout tube." This works pretty well, but getting the effect to last is the major problem.
Alternatively, is there a cheaper way to make a hazer that can be controlled electronically? I am sure the schematics are out there somewhere...
