I have seen this infomercial. Granted it is a neat idea, but I have so many head lamps, whether its a zebralight or a surefire minimus.

Headlamps are useful without question but I find (and it might be just me) that the elasticated bands become uncomfortable during prolonged use which in all fairness could be relative to our climate, personally I prefer magnetic COB style worklights.

The headlamp in the video in first post is ok but does not have much battery life. Still need a flashlight when doing dash work. I use a Wizard on a backwards baseball cap.

Just about any Petzl headlamp would be good for such a purpose. I really like the Strix but the Zipka is easier to carry in a pocket.

I have used many more expensive lights working on Aircraft in all sorts of conditions from Alaska to Africa. This is honestly better than all the name brands out there. Inexpensive, very bright, lasts a long time, rechargeable, and will use 18650 batteries. I use the Streamlight SL-B26 in several lights, it keeps things simple. The headband is comfortable, easily adjustable, and doesn't deteriorate with sweat. If you destroy or lose it working no big deal.
