incredible runtime for that output... can you remove the optics to only have a reflector?

It looks like the little cylindrical lens is held in place by a black plastic exoskeleton and it should be removable. No guarantees - I'm not going to try it right now.

I finally broke down and ordered a PT Genesis from BrightGuy which arrived today. It's alot of flashlight for the money and Quickbeam's review is spot on. Excellent review and excellent flashlight!

Excellent review as usual mate! I wonder will this lght be able to accept 2 X RCR123a's or perhaps a 17670 or something rechargeable? Thanks
