I have a WO bin Seoul P4 emitter on the way along with a McR20 Seoul edition reflector. My question is since the reflector is made for the Seoul, will I have to raise the emitter at all? Or can I just plop it in the space where the original emitter was? I'm puttin this in a KL1 head. Thanks.

Already done mine.
You don't need to raise the emitter. Just swap the emitter and insert the McR20-S.
Perfect! no more mod needed.
Another good point is GAP,between upper and lower part with McR20, disappeared.

Do I need to worry about the reflector contacting those electrical points on the top of the emitter?

Don't worry. Reflector has been seated on the plastic shoulder.

This is the KL1-R.
If you swap the stock optic with McR20. You can see the small gap between upper and lower parts. McR20-S is shorter than McR20. So, that makes perfect match.
To disassemble the KL1 is terrible. But it's not to me. :nana:

How much shorter?
I just ordered the Mcr20 specifically for this mod.
Is it any different than the mcr20 OTHER THAT the length?
If so, I can just shave her down a bit.

Seoul Reflectors are 0.75mm or 0.030" shorten then regular McR.
I've used stock McR-20 in KL1 head and it worked perfect :)

You can find the dimensions of both Mcr20 and Mcr20s reflectors in the Sandwich Shoppe website.
