Resin Casting Gitd Powder: strange effects?

I am trying to cast some small items in GitD Powder and Smooth-cast 325 clear Resin. (3 minute pot life, 10 minute demold)
I cast four different attempts in the same night and got four different results.

I tried using a small amount and it sunk in the resin, leaving 1/2 clear.
Tried again with a little more resin and it didn't fill the second 1/2 completely.
Then it got weird: I added a bit more powder and the thing turned WHITE. 1/2 is slightly green, but the whole thing looks like I used a white resin instead of clear.
I tried it again and got the same results.

Any idea whats going on?

I'd like to be able to use less powder to make it glow but can't figure out how to keep it suspended in the resin. Does anyone know a way to help suspend material in it without reducing its viscosity?

I ran into this a while ago with some gitd epoxy projects, it's not easy. The gitd particles either want to settle or you have to use more and deal.
I found layering works okish but getting consistently is hard.
If your product isn't thick enough to hold the particles, they will settle before curing. Maybe using gitd paint?
