I wanted a super simple, GITD, Nitecore piston mod that did not involve hours of mill setup or tritium vials. I used a automatic center punch, 11/64" drill bit, and Dremel to make the hole. Electrical tape was used as a stop collar on the drill bit and set the depth at 1/8" . After drilling the hole, It was filled with a mixture of Norland optical epoxy and Glow Inc. ultra glow powder using a toothpick to place drops into the cavity until flush. The piston cured in direct sunlight for roughly 20 mins. I am pleasantly surprised not only by the intensity of the glow, but also how long lived the glow is. Easily 12-14 hours for night adapted vision. Very happy with the results, and thought I would share. The mod with curing time was less than 45 minutes. Thanks to CPF for all the archived and easily accessible information. :twothumbs
