TN31vn VS TK75vn VS RC40vn VS X60vn

Celing bounce reading:
TN31vn: 120
TK75vn: 284
RC40vn: 350
X60vn: 365

Too bad it's raining tonight so I can't do beam shots. It appears the RC40vn and the X60vn throw just about the same but the X60vn has a larger hot spot that is more filled. The X60vn has a superior beam no doubt. Lumen wise both the RC40vn and the X60vn are awfully close. In this regard the RC40vn is very impressive as it's down by one emitter.

Wayne, any update on when you will get the necessary parts for completing the X60vn's?
Were you able to get through to Supbeam?

Gotta wait until after mid of February. China/HongKong/Vietnam basically much of Asia is on vacation.

Are the RC40vn, and X60vn both dedomed? With the deeper reflector on the RC40, I'm surprised it doesn't win out on throw.

I'm pretty sure they were both dedomed... Based on the timing, I would assume that those numbers came from the RC40 that he modded for me. (6500k dedome XM-L2 + current boost). The X60vn is dedome by default unless you ask for dome-on.

Not sure, sorry. He didn't mention what the current was, and I know he is a busy guy so so didn't ask. One very small thing to add, he told me there was one RC40 out of (I think) five total RC40's that he has modded so far, which was too heavily glued to do a current boost. For that light, he could only do the LED swap.
