Turbohead LED Headlamp That Runs on 12v

Hello,

I am seeking recommendations for a headlamp that will meet the following criteria. I started this inquiry out in a very general way over in the Transportation sub-forum. Now that I've refined my thinking, I thought a post here would be most effective.

• This will be mail-order or Online.
• Up to $100 although I'm seeing something on Amazon (see "5000 Lumen 2x CREE XML U2 LED Cycling Bicycle Bike Light Lamp Head Light Headlamp" [completely bogus claims but you get the point]) for under $20 which would make it hard to part with $100.
• LED to minimize electrical load
• I want to buy a light that is ready to go out of the box although I am prepared to wire it in and provide a switch/dimmer.
• I want to power this light from my motorcycle's puny battery i.e. a fluctuating 12V.
• At least 500 lumens
• Turbohead. I will provide flood from the bike-mounted light.
• 30-50 yards/meters
• Harsh conditions: knocked around, heat, cold, dust, rain
• IPX7 (Although it's rare, one may tip over in a stream:duh2
• Storage: wide temperature swings, long standby periods, critical reliability
