Upcoming brightest light?

Hi all, I'm a fan of ridiculously bright flashlights. I currently have an imalent ms12 and would like to upgrade to an ms18, but I keep wondering if something brighter is just around the corner since the ms18 has been the top (mass produced) dog for several years now. I have looked some and and not seen mention of anything. Do you guys know of an upcoming ms18 beater? Also, I would not be averse to something from a low volume specialist.
