I need to get some new bulbs for my outdoor flood lights they're par38 upto 120w per socket, I must say I am not sure that led bulbs are a great choice the reviews I'm seeing online are extremely mixed, are there any hidden gems in the field or should I just go with something like Philips standard bulbs??

How much light (lumens) is required? Also which tint (CCT) as there are at least a few choices: 2700K, 3000K, 5000K; also 6500K and 4000K though less common.

I'm looking at a 13W LED PAR38 which claims to replace 90W, 1100 lumens. There are also colour LED spots available from Philips including red, green, blue, and yellow; even one which can cycle R-G-B-W by flipping power switch.

These days LED spotlights having much lower power and heat than incandescents are available with built-in motion detectors, sometimes useful.

I went with these at menards they were the most lumens they had, didn't have any color choice unless I went downto 60w equivalent. They were $13 for a two pack.

Attached you can see where the Westinghouse failed after very low hours.

Not sure which other retailers you have good access to. Here I have several big-box and smaller stores, perhaps a half-dozen brands to choose from.

If I understand you could only get the 90W equiv. in 5000K (from box)? Are you looking for (say) 2700-3000K?

Not being a name-dropper but Philips should have something suitable though they tend to be a bit pricey. Some other brands (which may not all be the same in the US) include: Feit, EcoSmart, GE, Philips, Noma, Sylvania, Globe Electric. I don't recall seeing Westinghouse LED bulbs of that type here, but other products of that brand.
