Hello, I'm looking for a flashlight that has good throw and wide beam. The flashlight will be used to look out in the fields for Coyotes, when I take my dogs out at night. I have a ThruNite TN36 Limited light 11,000 lumens it has good wide beam but doesn't go far as I need it to go. Also have a Greenworks 24 Volt 3,000 Lumens, but that doesn't go as far as I need it to go. I'm guessing I need a throw to go atleast 400,500 yards with a good flood. The light won't be on long maybe less than 3-5 min.

I hope someone could guide me to the light I'm looking for I'd appreciate it.

You wont get the beam you want with single lens\reflector, you need a light that has several leds with separate flood, and throw optic, use it with both on at the same time. Something similar to olight marauder, or marauder mini. pretty much almost every manufacturer makes a light similar to those, as in combining flood and spot. they vary by output, price, cells used..

To get a bright enough beam to identify what you are seeing at 500yds, I'd look to a LEP. The only one I now of that will do what you are asking for is a Mateminco FW3. You can find reviews online

I don't think there's a light out there that will throw a wide beam at 500-600 yards and be bright enough to identify things clear Tight beam yes.

to put a decent amount of light on a target, you need the range/cd/lux to be 2x as much as what you are asking. for your situation, 400-500 yards needs to have a range/cd/lux that reaches 800-1000 yards. floody lumens gets "eaten" in the blackness easily, so a floody wall of light going 800-1000 yards requires a LOT of lumens, which'll be super expensive. what is your budget on this?

$500+ with a possible 10% discount..

Even so, it would be fun to check out the SR32 OLED display and internal thermal coolant radiator with fans to maintain (max?) lumens

If it comes with built-in am/fm radio it is better than my first car!
