Count me as VERY VERY pleased with mine. I never used my stock Elzetta much bc I prefer running 18650's.
Now I have the best if both worlds,
If all you need is eye shine, almost anything will work at that range.

Why I don't like them?
1. Too much overhead in the circuitry. They are terribly inefficient and the batteries run dry even when off.
My first choice would be Titanium, followed by Copper.
And "maximum trit slots" is never a bad thing either! 
I have a Maglite 4D with a Malkoff XML drop in and for some reason the rubber switch cap keeps popping off after about 10mins of use. Any suggestions
