  • Hi Mohan, Pete again. The first visitor message I had to divide into two parts because it was too long. The rest of the message is in your PM inbox (hope). If not, PM me and I will resend when I get home after work. Pete
Hi Mohan, Pete (mr.snakeman) here. I´ve have a problem that I hope you can help me with. I have several 47 Ti preons that I want to be able to use with the new Prometheus clips. What I have discovered is there is a design and machining mistake between the switch and the battery tubes: on the battery tubes the distance from the edge to the threads is 3.75 mm., on the switches the distance to the back (furthest from the threads on the switch, not the front, which I think it should be) of the o-ring groove is the same. This means that when the o-ring is mounted on the switch and when the two are screwed together tight the resulting gap between the two is app. 1.2mm (because the o-ring hits the threads of the battery tube) which is too much to allow a tight binding of the of the 0.081 thick (origional) clip. With the o-ring removed the two can be screwed down tight, holding any thickness clip in place.
