  • I think i might be able to have a body machined from my brothers friend. I need your advise if you can share some more please. I think the malkoff M61 head would be ok for 7AA's. For the tail cap the weltool TC59 says it can handle up to 4A current. Is that sufficient? Or maybe it will heat up the spring and switch?

    7-AA's is 10.5 volts. That's a little high for a M61
I would be happy to send you some money for materials if you happen to decide to try that project with the 7AA bodies.

I never put a lot of thought into how I'd do it. I might try someday but not for the time being.

Hi there, i saw you posted something recently so I thought I might ask you another question if thats ok. With your idea of making custom 7AA bodies, would thick wall tubing be achievable in your design mated with surefire parts and would you ever possibly try making any? I don't know if I will ever come across the old brute.
I saw an old post again with your idea to make 7 AA bodies to work with P series surefire lights. Did you happen to get extra time to make any and see how they turn out?
Hi there again, did you ever happen to make those 7 AA bodies that would work with the P series surefire? Seems like a nice idea. Thanks for any help.
