LOCO is more like it.
YOu want this thing to be like an 18-speed bicycle or something?! Three choices of chain ring, with a six-speed cluster? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Larry,
Lanyard is no problem! I have a web coil thether that will attach fore and aft and it stretches enough to allow comfortable shoulder slinging with good balance and deployment, IMHO.

I will not address the other mod ideas here! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/nana.gif (I would like to see a purple beast though.....)

Hey. Are you just trying to arouse me?

No, but I would like a picture of your cluster.

A. Wasn't talkin' to you dog-boy.
B. As a matter of fact, I can probably show you that. I just ordered up my first *real* road bike - should have a nice cluster.

Oops. Back to the beast at hand.

I'm waiting to see someone bore the head out and fit a light engine in there. Please include runtime graphs and beamshots!! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif A DB917 should run for a LONG time on 20x123!

If you look at kj's recently posted run time on the beast compared to the M6 and U2, I think that the HID is a performer here that will not be knocked off easily by another lightsource!! I was thinking that a Larry Light NLS embedded in one of the rubber guard knuckles might be useful for battery changes and other administration tasks. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

EDIT: A legitimate remora if you will...

I have to agree. Considering how it makes the M6 output look puny on that graph, the 80 minute runtime is even more impressive.

4x bright (2000 lumens vs 500 lumens), 4x runtime, but only 3.33x batteries. Roughly 4.8x more efficient. Very impressive.

So that mod adds a staggering THIRTY LUMENS to the maximum output of the Beast? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif
