Beamshot Comparison

Draco's both with 11m reflector; FluPic Burst, Left, UBin regulated, Right

TurboHead, AAA body left, Draco standard "U" regulated, Right

Draco Turbo, FluPic 'Burst", Left HDS EDC U 60 "High", Right

Draco Turbohead FluPic "Burst" Left, McLux PD "High" Right

I believe the reason the HDS is not as bright as the PD = PD has a fully charged RCR123, the HDS, a "new" Duracell Ultra 123.

But, you get the idea; the little guy is "Bright"!!

Thanks for posting beam shots, jeffb!

I had the same experience and conclusions as you when comparing the HDS 60 against the Draco Turbo.

Thanks for the photos and beamshots! The Draco looks lovely.

Does the output w/ stock head look so much lower than /w the Turbo head, b/c most of the light w/ stock head dissipates into floody spill, and it gets lost in the shorter exposure?
