Tonight I bought a Streamlight TwinTask 3C to keep in the car. When I got it out of the package there was a pretty big scratch on the lens, so I'm planning on exchanging it for a new one. Naturally, I still loaded some batteries into it and played with it for a little. It seems perfect for the car, low light LEDs for reading a map or other things inside the car, brighter xenon for checking stuff etc. outside the car (woohoo smooth beam).
Before I go ahead and get a new one, can anyone recommend another light in a similar price range ($30-$40) that may serve me better as a car light? I know the TwinTasks aren't the best lights out there, but I don't exactly have the money for an A2 Aviator caliber light at the moment.
Oh, please don't recommend stuff like a G2 for a car light. I already carry one on my belt so one in the glovebox wouldn't get much use. Also, I really like the versatility of dim LEDs and bright xenon.
