Kinda of a modifier, I have 2 pairs of rechargeable 3.6 volt batteries with 700mah. Anyone know if the Scorpion mini would take 7.2 volts it or would it burn out?

Would really like this to work since my other flashlights would eat my batteries.

Since the bulbs are already being pushed quite a bit, I'd imagine they'd flash or at least have VERY short lifetimes but you may be able to use the TL-3 bulb in the Scoprion and then run it on the LiON cells. If the bulb physically fits, I'd expect you'd get 30-40 minutes of good runtime and brightness should be about 150-ish lumens or maybe a bit better.

And I might suggest to use protected cells to keep from damaging them.
